My 5 minute clean ups in Tallinn, Estonia.
Since I started to pick up trash around me on a beach in Malaysia, I started to do so in Europe too.
And in Tallinn I started to write down what I found and picked up (but also what I noticed but couldnt pick up, like hundreds of cigarette buds in the streets) to get aware about what kind of trash ends up in our environment the most.
So in 2 months living in Tallinn, Estonia I found and picked up this:
9 plastic bags
12 bottle caps (and a few rings)
43 food wrapper (from ice cream to cheese wrapper)
5 spoons, forks
5 lollipop sticks
4 cigarette packs
8 cigarette buds (in the national park)
10 pieces of styropor
1 shoe (left)
58 other stuff
(= 183 plastic trash pieces less in the environment)
What I couldn´t pick up: 1 tire
